An enchanting nostalgic German-made glass ornament, beautifully handcrafted with the character and charm of traditional European Christmas decorations.
This strikingLarge Birdhouse ornament is such a beautiful statement piece. Measuring approximately16 cm, it features a wonderfully detailed winter birdhouse with a warm amber-toned bird perched at the entrance, surrounded by sculpted red berries, green leaves and snow-covered details.
The rich reflective glass gives the ornament incredible depth, while the hand-finished accents—shimmering roof tiles, snowy edges, berries and woodland details—make it feel almost like a tiny winter scene rather than a simple ornament.
Because of its larger scale, this is a piece that really stands out on the tree. It would be beautiful placed among greenery, woodland ornaments and other vintage-inspired glass pieces, or used as a special focal ornament in a collected Christmas display.
These ornaments arehandmade by a German family-run business with a multi-generational tradition of Christmas ornament making. They are not mass-produced decorations, but special pieces created with craftsmanship and care. We love the idea of choosing ornaments slowly over time—pieces that are brought out with excitement each Christmas and eventually become part of a family's own holiday traditions.
A beautiful heirloom ornament to treasure year after year.
Because these ornaments are handmade, slight variations in colour, painting, finish and decorative details are part of their character and should be expected. These subtle differences make each ornament wonderfully unique.
