Lilac is a very pale purple with silvery undertones.
Each piece is sold as a fat eighth, measuring approximately 8" x 22".
This luxurious hand-dyed silk velvet has a beautifully soft texture and rich variation in its surface, creating the distinctive highlights and shadows that make velvet so special. It is made from 15% silk backing and an 85% rayon pile.
The velvet has been dye-set and thoroughly washed. We recommend hand washing in cool water with a gentle, non-alkaline soap such as Ivory or Woolite. As with any natural fibre, prolonged exposure to sunlight may encourage fading.
Because each piece is hand dyed, slight variations in colour are natural and part of its unique beauty.
