This charming thread catcher keeps your sewing space tidy while adding a beautiful handmade detail to your worktable. The structured basket holds thread snippets neatly inside, while the attached pincushion rests conveniently on a soft hinge. Filled with crushed walnut shells, the pin cushion keeps pins sharp and secure. A simple plastic strapping inserted into the top edge gives the basket its shape and stability.
The kit includes the fabrics and label to complete the thread catcher including the fabric for the strawberries. The walnut shells/filling and plastic strapping are not included (the plastic strapping is commonly found around items to hold them together such as wood planks etc). The pattern is in the Fruity Quilts book which you MUST have (the pattern is NOT included with this kit).
