The inspiration for this sewing case came straight from the Regency era. A hussif is an 18th century sewing kit, which women used to store their needles and other stitching notions. We have reimagined this kit to fit our modern day needs, while still keeping the charm and beauty of what we picture these cases to have looked like during Jane Austen’s time. We have added pretty trims, ribbons and a very special cross stitch on the front of the hussif, to create a beautiful and special way for you to organize your favourite stitching notions.
The kit includes all the fabric, ribbons, interfacing and dmc thread needed to complete the project. Cross stitch linen is also included. Don't forget to download the beautiful template in the book for custom thread holders that fit perfectly in your hussif!
