These stockings have everything we love about an Acufactum Christmas — beautiful fabrics, nostalgic details, rich texture and that unmistakable handmade charm that makes a project feel special year after year. I have made both of these stockings and they come together beautifully, are generously sized and are now my favourite Christmas Stockings in my (quite large) stocking collection.
We have created two versions of the kit, so you can choose the style that suits you best. Both finish at 21.75" tall.
Cross Stitch Version
Includes the materials for the stocking featuring the stitched Christmas design shown in A Handmade Winter. This version is perfect if you love adding a little handwork to your holiday sewing and want the extra detail of a cross stitched focal piece. All fabrics, ribbon and fusible fleece are included. The DMC floss is also included.
Fabric Only Version
A lovely option for those who would prefer to create the stocking using fabric only, without the cross stitch panel. This version still captures the same beautiful layered, festive look and is perfect for showcasing the new Christmas Musician Acufactum fabric. All fabrics, ribbon and fusible fleece are included.
You MUST have a copy of the A Handmade Winter book to complete this project. The sewing instructions, pattern pieces and project directions are found in the book and are not included with this kit.
