Acufactum A Handmade Winter KIT {Mushroom Wreath Cross-Stitch}

Mushroom Wreath Cross Stitch KIT {A Handmade Winter}

One of the beautiful cross-stitch projects featured in the new Acufactum book, A Handmade Winter.

The Mushroom Wreath is such a lovely celebration of autumn and the woodland. A bright red toadstool sits at the centre of the design, surrounded by a delicate wreath of leaves, berries and little treasures from the forest. It has that wonderful Acufactum storybook feeling while still being simple and timeless enough to display year after year.

I especially love the rich autumn colours in this one. Framed when finished, it would be beautiful in a sewing room, entryway or tucked into an autumn display.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner

The book shows the design stitched on white evenweave and recommends a frame measuring at least 9½" × 12".

KIT INCLUDES: Fat Quarter of 30 count Permin evenweave cross stitch linen, DMC floss as required by the pattern. Frame is not included.

*The complete Mushroom Wreath cross-stitch chart is found on pages 128–129 of the A Handmade Winter book.

*The design uses V&H embroidery floss, with a DMC conversion chart available on page 138 of the book.

PLEASE NOTE

You MUST have a copy of A Handmade Winter to complete this project. The pattern and sewing instructions are found in the book and are not included with this kit.
