I absolutely love this project. As a lover of vintage and antique finds, I have several sweet lamps without shades. The Lampshade Cover transforms a simple little lamp into something that feels completely special, with a softly shaped, scalloped cover that drapes over the frame almost like a tiny fabric gown. You can find the metal lampshade frames easily on Amazon etc.
The book shows two beautiful versions. One uses the whimsical Forest Friends fabric in soft woodland tones, while the other features Deer and Flowers in delicate blush shades with a lovely appliquéd heart detail. Both are lined with coordinating Acufactum fabrics, allowing the light to glow softly through the shade and creating such a warm, cozy atmosphere.
It is a wonderful way to bring Acufactum fabrics into your home in a completely different way, and because the cover is removable, you could even change your lampshade with the seasons.

The project is constructed from six shaped panels, with a separate lining and a softly scalloped lower edge. The heart version also includes a pretty layered appliqué detail using feature fabric and linen.
KIT INCLUDES: All the fabric for the shades. It does not include the metal lampshade frame or lamp.
