Rose the Puppy KIT

In Jean’s words: “Make your very own 6" (15cm) full-jointed puppy doll! The Rose and Charlie puppy patterns are designed to be posable & balanced so that your puppy can stand, sit, and pose. How fun is that!? The quick sew method of SEWING BEFORE CUTTING makes sewing smaller pieces and little clothes a delight. Patterns & instructions for a Rose doxie puppy and Charlie puppy are included as well as bonus design and colouring tips AND of course, a basic dress, a gathered dress, and little pants! (P.S. Many of the clothes from my other patterns will fit your puppy too with minor tweaking!) All 5 patterns can be enlarged or reduced on a photocopier to make any size puppy you want! More tips and maker videos at sotreasured.com. Why not give it a try!? Have fun making your own Rose dachshund puppy, a regular Charlie puppy, or use the design page to create a puppy that resembles your very own special dog!”

*These dolls are heirloom quality when complete, made with the finest German mohair or viscose fabrics, glass eyes and high quality fiber discs and joints. Check Jean’s blog for several free clothing and accessory patterns for your doll.

*What’s included in your kit: Jean’s digital downloadable pattern, which includes the Rose/Charlie pattern, and variations, beautiful German Mohair in colour antique honey (image 3), inner ear fabric, a pair of handblown glass eyes and all pins and disc joints required for one Rose puppy (Please note, the pattern includes instructions to make Rose and/or the modified version called Charlie, but the KIT has supplies for just one Puppy doll-either a Rose…dachshund….or Charlie….a slightly chubbier puppy), glass filler beads for added weight. The pattern will be emailed to you automatically upon purchase.

NOT included is fabric for the clothes, any accessories pictured such as hats, bows etc, stuffing, or the shoes. We decided not to include the shoes so you can choose the colour and style yourself if you’d like shoes for your doll. The shoes are beautifully made and I highly recommend them! They fit perfectly on Jean’s dolls EXCEPT ROSE who’s feet are smaller. They will fit Charlie, if you choose to make this modified puppy doll. You will also require basic sewing supplies and hemostats can also be very useful (you can purchase these at tool shops or craft stores). Other helpful tools are described in Jean’s pattern.

*Jean recommends Hobbs Poly-down fibrefill, but you may also choose a high quality stuffing of your liking.
