December House by August Ellery is a winter and holiday fabric collection designed to be loved well beyond Christmas.
Filled with the thoughtful colour, vintage influence and wonderfully unexpected details we love about August Ellery, December House brings together 42 fabrics in two distinct colour stories (21 fabrics each). The collection includes new feature prints, coordinating blenders and versatile low-volume designs, making it especially easy to mix, layer and use across projects both large and small.
The Frosted Apple colourway takes a traditional holiday palette of reds and greens and gives it the unmistakable August Ellery treatment: nostalgic, artistic and just a little unexpected.
Midnight Plum offers a quieter interpretation of winter, with rich plums, frosted greens and soft, dusky tones that feel perfectly at home during the holidays but transition beautifully into the new year and even spring.
That versatility is one of the things we love most about December House. This isn't a collection that needs to be packed away with the Christmas decorations. Its florals, birds, charming houses, small-scale motifs, stripes and intricate little prints lend themselves beautifully to year-round sewing.
August Ellery designed December House with both the big projects and the little weekend makes in mind. Of course, we can imagine beautiful quilts, but these fabrics are equally lovely for bags, eyeglass cases, book covers, lavender sachets, doll clothes, table pieces, home décor and handmade gifts.
