Willow Cottage is honoured to have designed and sewn the projects in this book. Inspired by the whimsical world of Silke Leffler, I imagined a gentle summer’s day picnic, where fairies drift quietly among the flowers, carrying fruit-laden baskets in the warm afternoon light. Each piece was thoughtfully created to be both beautiful and purposeful. From a charming picnic set to delicate and practical sewing accessories, alongside quilts, cushions, and table runners, this collection offers something special for every sewist to create and treasure.

"Fruitful Quilts" opens the door to a summery world full of ripe berries, delicate blossoms, and lovingly crafted details. In warm reds, soft pinks, and subtle blues, a cheerful color palette unfolds, reminiscent of sunny days in the garden and rekindling the joy of crafting.
The sewing designs are by Willow Cottage Quilt Co. With a keen sense of color, form, and textile harmony, they combine classic quilting traditions with playful elements and meticulously crafted details. Their signature style is evident in clearly composed quilt patterns, vibrant patchwork, and delicate embroideries that gradually blossom into cherished treasures. English paper piecing and cross-stitch are seamlessly integrated into this summery theme, offering a wealth of creative possibilities.
Silke Leffler's illustrations lend the motifs their distinctive charm and tell little berry stories that weave a thread throughout the book. Fabrics, ribbons, and patches capture this world, creating a cohesive collection where colors and patterns blend harmoniously.
The photographs by Loreta Jasiukeniene and Elze Jasiukenaite capture the projects in a warm, natural atmosphere, showing how fabrics and details can be combined to create a cozy and inviting ambiance.
