Stitch Spool is a charming little sewing-inspired project by Jeannette Douglas Designs, created to wrap around a beautiful wooden spool for a unique and useful finish.
This petite design is filled with the thoughtful details Jeannette is known for. The stitched band wraps around the spool and features a nun’s stitch edging, with pretty buttons and ribbon used to create the closure. It makes such a lovely addition to a sewing room or stitching basket, and would also be a wonderful gift for a fellow stitcher.
The chart pack includes the hand-dyed cotton threads, buttons and ribbon needed for the design.
