In Emma Sjödin's graphic prints the traditional image of a geranium gets a modern expression, the picture conveys a feeling of both warmth and modern design. Emma drew this heritage geranium when it was growing ever larger in a north facing window. The original comes from one of her own grey scale pencil drawings, which has then been coloured in different colours. She was drawn to this plant because of it's beautiful leaves, which created an interesting dynamic with the stalks and flower buds.
