The Candle Ornaments are such a sweet old-fashioned Christmas project. Designed to look like little glowing candles, each ornament combines a softly stuffed candle with a fabric flame and embroidered details to create the prettiest little hanging decoration.
The candle bodies are made from the whimsical Christmas Musicians fabric, allowing you to choose favourite little motifs for each one, while Pebble Ochre creates the warm golden glow around the flame. Small embroidered wicks and rays add the final detail and make each candle feel a little different.
Hang them from the Christmas tree, tuck them into a wreath or garland, or add one to a beautifully wrapped gift.
Makes: 6 Candle Ornaments
Finished size: approximately 1½" × 6" each.
Skill Level: Confident Beginner
The project includes fusible appliqué, simple embroidery, working with small sewn pieces, light stuffing and a little hand finishing.
KIT INCLUDES: Fabrics required, fusible fleece, fusible web and two skeins of DMC floss. Stuffing is not included.
