Garden Rosehips by Fig Tree
This is hands down one of those classic Fig Tree blocks that we have created in various sizes and versions over the years and it never ever gets old. It was time to create it anew in a renewed summer version that just makes you fall in love with your garden all over again.
Each block is its own little creation and choosing the fabrics and colors for each block is half the fun of the whole process if you ask me!

Fabric Requirements
Block Petals: (8) ⅜ yds. in a variety of colors. I chose (2) soft red, (2) lilac, (2) gold, (1) tan and (1) green fabric
Block Insides: (4) ¼ yds. low volume ivory prints
Block Center: ¼ yd. gold print [+ leftovers from above petal fabrics]
Posts & Center Star: 1 yd. green print
Background: 1 ¾ yds. ivory solid or low volume [WHITE ON WHITE EYELET]
Inner Border: ¾ yd. small cream print [IVORY + GREEN TEXT PRINT]
Outer Border: ¾ yd. golden yellow print [GOLD EYELET]
Backing: 4 yds.
Binding: ⅝ yd. small red print
