Quilting 101 Class February 4 and 11th, 2026

In this class, Laurie will guide you through the process of making a quilt. She has designed a beautiful, yet simple quilt (with the option of making it into a tablerunner if a quilt seems too daunting). From selecting fabrics, cutting and preparing pieces, understanding the pattern, basics of construction through to binding and finishing, you will learn from an expert quilter best practices for your quilt journey.

Included in the class is the pattern. You may select from kits we have available or choose your own fabrics. We are prepared to help you with these choices as well, so not to worry, you won't feel overwhelmed! The price is for the instruction and the pattern, fabric and kits aren't included in the price, but are available for you to purchase separately. We have provided a digital download version of the pattern so you can see the fabrics we used and can choose your own, or these same fabrics :)

*You MUST have your own sewing machine!

*Class takes place on February 4 and 11th from 10am-2pm. We also have regular open sew days which you can join if you feel you need more time and guidance from Laurie.
