Hello fellow creative! We are excited to be expanding our team here is Okotoks, Alberta. The position is for an assistant (aka my right hand) in all the things! I am looking for someone to fill our online and in person orders (there will be lots of fabric cutting!), help maintain and organize inventory, manage customer service and customer relations, help form and manage our upcoming virtual studio experience (the Willow Cottage Collective). Our new team member should be knowledgeable in social media, branding and staging. Our in person studio hosts many events. We will need help with maintenance/set up for classes and open houses. We are developing many areas of our business with a whole lot of dreaming, playing and brainstorming in our creative adventure. We'd love for you to join us!

We are looking for a person who is:
Creative. One of our core values is promoting the creative arts and encouraging the beauty and fulfillment that comes from handmade goods. You do not have to be a sewist or quilter, but bonus points if you are. You must love fabric, though. We are BIG time lovers of Fabric!

Knowledgeable in social media, as well as comfortable in working with our online shop (we will of course train in this area, but we need someone who knows their way around a computer and techy stuff. You might even teach me a thing or two)

Amazing with customer relations. This role involves managing customer relations both in person and through email. We value our relationships with our customers and all communication reflects that.

This role requires the team member to able to occasionally lift heavy boxes (of fabric, of course), climb a library ladder to collect bolts of fabric, be able to wrangle our vast supply of goodies (think Olivander's in Harry Potter. OK, not quite but I'm working on it. Goals.)

Availablilty to work 3-4 days per week Monday-Thursday during the day.
