*Tilda is having its 25th anniversary and to mark this special occasion Tilda has created a Jubilee collection of fabrics using designs from times past in celebration birthday colours. This Birthday Quilt is perfect to celebrate a special birthday for a loved one in your life. It features lovely applique motifs arranged into a central vase of flowers, with corner frames of floral motifs. The method used is turned-edge applique, with the motifs sewn to a patchwork background. To make the quilt truly unique, the design can be customized to include the name and date of the recipient's birthday.
*This kit includes all of the material for the quilt top and binding. It does not include the backing. You will require 4.5 yards of backing fabric. The pattern calls for Circus Life Jubilee in blue for the Blue Sage version and Circus Life Jubilee in creme for the Dove White version, but of course you can use any fabric you'd like.
