This kit was inspired by my love of embroidery sampler’s and wanting something similar to stitch that wasn’t quite so large. The floral letters in the HOME sampler look beautiful and is a lovely simple project to stitch.
The kit includes new hand-printed linen, instructions and all threads required to complete the project. If you are a visual learner you will also find supporting tutorials on my youtube channel.
The embroidered design measures approx 19cm by 5cm.
All materials are beautifully presented in a sturdy, professionally printed folder tied with frayed linen, based on the design of the handmade folders that Kate Nicole (Oyster Bridge & Co) makes for my embroidery workshops. Kate has provided all of the illustrations and hand-calligraphy for the kits, together with a ‘Stitchery Favourites’ reference card that will soon be available to buy online in my haberdashery department alongside my favourite scissors, needles, hoops and threads.
Ideal as gifts or for yourself, The Stitchery embroidery kits are designed with beginners in mind, as well advanced stitchers. The aim is not to produce a perfect piece of needlework but to encourage the stitcher to slow down and enjoy a little old-fashioned calmness and serenity in a world that is becoming increasingly fast-paced and perhaps a little stressful at times.
