Amiably True Italian Summer: Postcards from Italy QUILT KIT

*Color printed 100% cotton satin with satin weave, made in Europe, Oeko-Tex® certified 132 g/m2. This fabric has a soft and slightly silky feel. It can be used for a variety of projects including quilts, toys, home decor projects and more.

*This quilt kit includes the Alison Glass postage stamp fabric, the panels and all the fabrics for the quilt top and binding as per the description (please note: some substitutions have been made from the original picture that you see). Backing is not included.

*This quilt finishes at 56 x 56"

*The postage stamp instructions are free from the Alison Glass website. You must download and print from her site (the printed pattern for this is not included), however, we have included a printed image showing the layout we used for our sample. You can of course modify this layout as Alison's pattern give many examples of different ways you can use her postage stamp material and pattern. You will find that pattern here.

*We have 2 versions remaining:

1. Version one is Stamp Stripe in Teal with Mr Bear, Hedgehog and Sailboat fabrics as per the picture. We used the filigree kite for the cornerstones and binding, white swiss dot for the sashing. The 4 panels are one blue Mr. Bear, one white Mr. Bear and then a fat quarter of Mr. Bear and patchwork in which you can choose from white or blue background options. The central panel print is as pictured in the original (Mr. Bear, large rectangular panel)
2. Version two is Stamp Stripe in Lilac with Mrs Fox in off white and pink and bougainvillea (we used the bougainvillea on the top and bottom middle rectangles, and the Fox feature prints on the middle left and right panels. The panel prints are all as pictured in the original. The sashing is white swiss dot and the cornerstones and binding are the pink stripe with lemons. You can see all these prints in the pictures.
