Bring the nostalgic charm of a traditional German Christmas market into your home with this delightful wooden figure, beautifully made in Germany.
When the snow lies deep in the forest, the forester makes his most important round: to the feeding troughs where deer and hares come to spend the winter. Wearing his green coat, his hat pulled low over his brow, he has his binoculars at the ready, and on his hand sit small birds that have long since come to trust him. He knows every track in the snow and knows where the fox lives and where the owl roosts. As soon as a fir-scented incense cone glows inside him, smoke rises from his mouth like breath in the cold morning air. A figurine incense smoker for nature lovers and all those who care about the forest and its animals.
But this lovely Santa has another special feature! He is also a traditional German incense smoker, known as aRäuchermann. Place a suitable incense cone inside the figure, and fragrant smoke gently rises through his mouth, creating the wonderful atmosphere of a European Christmas market. Choose a festive fragrance such as gingerbread, cinnamon or Christmas spice for an especially cosy touch.
Made in Germany by Schulte Kunst, this beautiful wooden figure celebrates the traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail that make German Christmas decorations so treasured. From his tiny gingerbread cookies to the knitted texture of his hat and scarf, every detail adds to his wonderful old-world charm.
Whether displayed amongst your Christmas village, nestled into a festive mantel arrangement or given a special place in your holiday decorating, Gingerbread Santa is a delightful keepsake to bring out and enjoy year after year.
A little piece of German Christmas tradition to treasure for generations.
