An extraordinary collection of nostalgic German glass ornaments, beautifully handcrafted and decorated in rich jewel tones against dramatic black glass.
TheBlack Royal 14-Piece Ornament Set is such a special collection. Each ornament begins with a deep black glass background, then comes to life with wonderfully detailedflowers, berries, birds, foliage and botanical motifs painted in rich reds, pinks, greens, golds and jewel-like colours.
The assortment includes a beautiful mixture of shapes and designs, along with charmingclip-on glass birds with feather details, giving the collection the feeling of an old box of treasured Christmas ornaments gathered over generations.
I especially love the contrast of the dark glass against the brightly coloured decoration. On the Christmas tree, the black almost disappears into the greenery while the hand-finished motifs glow against the lights, creating a wonderfully dramatic and old-world look.
These ornaments aremade by a German family-run business with a multi-generational tradition of Christmas ornament making. They are not ordinary mass-produced decorations, but special pieces created with craftsmanship and care—the kind of ornaments you carefully unpack each December and look forward to seeing year after year.
This complete boxed set would make an exceptional addition to a collected Christmas tree and a beautiful heirloom to pass down.
This is an assorted collection, with each ornament featuring its own individual design. Please refer to the photographs for the ornaments included in this particular set.
Because these ornaments are handcrafted and hand-finished, slight irregularities in the glass, paint, colour and decorative details are part of their character and should be expected. These variations are part of what makes vintage-inspired German glass ornaments so special.
