The Half-Round Organizer is such a clever project... practical, beautifully finished, and designed to sit neatly along the edge of a sewing table or workspace without taking up too much room.
Its softly rounded shape creates a generous little storage basket for fabrics, embroidery supplies, sewing tools, patterns or all those little things that tend to gather around your sewing space. The exterior is lightly quilted to give it structure and texture, while an Acufactum woven ribbon wraps around the basket as the prettiest finishing detail.
The book shows versions using Wintertime Stripes with the Robin in the Snow ribbon, as well as the whimsical Gnomes and Foxes fabric with the Fox Play ribbon. Both have that lovely quiet, European feeling that makes even something practical feel special.
Fusible foam stabilizer gives the organizer its sturdy shape, while the half-round construction allows the flat side to sit beautifully against a wall or along the back of your sewing table.
