The Gnome Cushion feels like a little winter story brought to life. At the centre is the sweetest woodland gnome, stitched on soft green evenweave, carrying a glowing lantern as he makes his way through the forest.
The embroidery is framed with cozy cream bouclé plush and appliquéd trees, giving the cushion wonderful texture and that soft, wintry look that makes it feel extra special. It is such a lovely combination of cross stitch and sewing, and the finished cushion has a beautiful storybook quality that would be perfect for a favourite chair, bench or cozy reading corner.

This project combines cross stitch, appliqué, working with bouclé plush, and zippered cushion construction. The embroidered centre panel is made first, then the cushion is assembled in the same style as the Woodland View Cushion, with one appliquéd tree added on each side of the stitching.
KIT INCLUDES: the required fabrics, fusible web, fusible fleece, and zipper. Cushion insert is not included.
Please note: Kit fabric quantities may vary from those listed in the book. Where the book calls for more fabric than is actually required, we have adjusted the quantity to include what you need plus a little extra, helping keep the kit cost down. We may also substitute a comparable basic fabric for hidden linings where this does not affect the finished look of the project.
