The Mary Mary quilt (which finishes at 73 x 73") uses embroidery, appliqué, and machine piecing. Helen uses her EasyAPP method throughout with custom iron-on leave-in paper templates that can be stitched by hand or machine
There are 16 simple stitchery blocks on the Molly and May stitchery panel. Only 8 are required for the quilt. The stitches used are Back stitch, Satin stitch, Detached Chain, French Knots, Colonial knots
This BOM is sold as a complete kit (including 108" wideback backing) and full pattern. The pattern will be broken into a General Instructions (full colour) booklet and 6 monthly full sized layout guides and instructions. In this way, the kit is broken into monthly segments, making it more manageable for you to keep on track without feeling overwhelmed. The kit also includes a Cosmo floss pack. All precision custom cut applique Iron-on papers required are provided in the Mary Mary BOM Pattern Pack (no tracing required), and you will also receive a wooden thread keeper.
You will have the option of joining a Facebook group run by the fabric and pattern designer, Helen, where she will be commenting and providing any help needed. You can also follow Helen (Live@7withhelen) for demos each month on the Hugs and Kisses Facebook page and Youtube channel.
