These two might be among my very favourite projects in the entire book. Mr. and Mrs. Fox were dreamed up by Andrea and designed by Laurie who brought our foxes to life in a masterful way! Warm russet-red linen for our gentleman fox and a beautiful pale snow fox for our Mrs, each with their own wonderfully detailed wardrobe.
For this kit, you can choose to make either Mr. Fox OR Mrs. Fox. Each kit includes the fabrics to make one complete fox plus the clothing designed for that fox.
The foxes themselves are constructed in essentially the same way, but different fabrics and slightly different face shapes give them their individual personalities. Both have beautifully shaped faces and ears, jointed-looking stuffed arms and legs, a wonderfully full tail finished with a soft cream wool tip, and tiny felt eyes with hand-stitched details. They finish at an impressive approximately 19½" tall.
Mr. Fox is made in a rich rust-brown linen with contrasting ecru details. His wardrobe is wonderfully tailored: a dark gray boiled-wool jacket, a little Gnomes and Foxes fabric waistcoat, and black checked trousers with turned cuffs. He looks very distinguished — as though he is dressed for a rather important winter occasion.
Mrs. Fox is the graceful snow fox, made from soft natural linen with beautiful contrasting details. Her wardrobe includes a full Squirrel-print dress with a gathered skirt and an elegant cream boiled-wool coat. The coat is especially lovely, with a delicate lace standing collar, a fitted upper section and beautifully shaped tails at the back designed to sit around her fox tail.
They are beautiful displayed individually, but of course they are especially wonderful together. Acufactum describes them as an elegant pair — a pale snow fox and warm-toned red fox with expressive faces and refined clothing, bringing a little woodland magic and handcrafted character to a winter home.

Stuffing and snaps, buttons or velcro are not included. The DMC floss is also not included. You only require a very small amount of floss to add details to their eyes.
