An extraordinary German-made Christmas ornament, full of old-world whimsy and beautifully detailed craftsmanship.
This strikingLarge Santa Balloon Ornament is one of those pieces that immediately becomes a focal point. At approximately27 cm tall, it features a beautifully dressed Santa standing within an elaborate suspended balloon-style design, complete with a decorative canopy above, flowing gold wire details, and a glossy red glass ball beneath.
Santa is dressed in rich jewel tones ofteal, gold, red and pink, with shimmering metallic details throughout. The white and gold balloon basket is decorated with red and gold accents, while the delicate wirework creates the wonderful illusion that Santa is floating through the air.
There is so much detail to discover in this piece—from Santa’s hand-finished clothing and tiny gifts to the sparkling trim, decorative canopy and suspended construction. It has the theatrical, storybook quality of traditional European Christmas decoration and would be beautiful displayed prominently on a large tree, hanging in a window, or incorporated into a special holiday vignette.
These ornaments aremade by a German family-run business with a multi-generational tradition of Christmas ornament making. They are not ordinary mass-produced decorations, but special pieces created with craftsmanship and care—the kind of Christmas treasure that becomes part of a family's traditions and is eagerly brought out year after year.
This is alarge and very delicate ornament with fine suspended wirework and decorative elements. Please handle carefully when unpacking, hanging and storing.
Because these ornaments are handcrafted and hand-finished, slight variations in colour, painting, glitter, shaping and decorative details are part of their character and should be expected.
