After an overwhelming response to our London Town Block of the Month program, we are offering our very last remaining London Town kits done in the original Hometown fabrics. Below are some more details about this amazing quilt.
The kit includes all of the original Hometown fabrics, pattern book, binding, DMC floss colours in blue and gold, ribbon for the flags plus a few bonus treats! Backing is not included, and you will require 4 yards of 42" width fabric. PLEASE NOTE: There has been 3 substitutions in Hometown fabric. Applegarden Red has been replaced with Daisyfield Ginger and Friendly Gathering Blue with Daisyfield blue, and we also had to swap one red print with Chic escape Whimsy Flower rust.
You will require a 1/4" bias tape maker, fray check and basic sewing supplies to complete this kit. It is traditionally pieced quilt with a few small features such as the Liberty building, with top stitched bias trim.

We'll start our tour with a bird's eye view of the city from the London Eye, visiting Westminter Abbey and Big Ben before taking a cab to Buckingham Palace to catch the changing of the guard, next we're heading down river to the Tower of London and on to Greenwich to see the Cutty Sark, then it's off to the West End for some fabric shopping at Liberty's before a trip to the Park on the top deck of a London bus. And we'd better take a brolly, just in case.The quilt will finish at 61" square.
