After an overwhelming response to our London Town Block of the Month program, Nicola and I will be offering a beautiful solids version as a kit (pictured), coming Summer 2023! This will be made in the yummy Tilda solids, chambrays and basics fabrics. Of course another option is to just purchase the pattern (also available in Summer 2023) and use your own choice of fabrics! While this will not be another block of the month program, we will be hosting a sew along for those who'd like to join in! Below are some more details about this amazing quilt.
Join me and our brilliant pattern designer Nicola from Cakestand Quilts next summer to make the London Town sampler, a quilt that will take you on a wonderful, whistle-stop tour of the British capital...
We'll start our tour with a bird's eye view of the city from the London Eye, visiting Westminter Abbey and Big Ben before taking a cab to Buckingham Palace to catch the changing of the guard, next we're heading down river to the Tower of London and on to Greenwich to see the Cutty Sark, then it's off to the West End for some fabric shopping at Liberty's before a trip to the Park on the top deck of a London bus. And we'd better take a brolly, just in case.The quilt will finish at 61" square. We will be sharing all details such as pricing, release dates and more in Spring of 2023.
